The Two Pentecosts

When I was looking for a voice, I found a Person. When I was looking for guidance, I found a Shepherd. When I was looking for the will of God, I found a relationship with God.

A good relationship needs communication and communion.

In the first Pentecost, we see God speaking to man directly out of His holy mountain. But man was afraid to hear Him firsthand directly. And Moses had to be the middleman.

In the second Pentecost, we see God speaking to man from His Holy Temple inside of man in heavenly languages by the Holy Spirit, and by the same Spirit, man speaks to God. No middleman.

There are 50 days between the Resurrection of Christ and Pentecost. Jesus began both to do and teach for 40 days until the day in which He was taken up (Acts 1:1-3). Then the disciples had to wait another 10 days before the Holy Spirit descended.

What did Jesus teach them during these 40 days? I believe, among the teachings, He would have taught them about the First Pentecost at Mount Sinai, and what went wrong there and then.

We are now in the period of the 40 days between the Resurrection and Ascension of Christ.

I have done a powerpoint presentation to show the two Pentecosts on what really happened in Mount Sinai and in Mount Zion (Jerusalem).
